You have to go back in time, to be more interested in what you really had when you were younger in terms of what the culture was and the culture was going on in college and why you could have been successful in life at that age. You have to be able to pick things up. Not everyone can do that. There is a big difference between trying to be successful and being successful. Those are two different things. You can be successful for any reason. You can be successful as a student, a football player, or as a college student, but you may not necessarily be successful to a certain extent. In college however, a lot depends on your personality. Maybe there’s a little bit of a stigma around having that reputation so you are less likely to be a star and you can be happy.
A question that I ask myself on a weekly basis do you think that the media bias to talk about your success doesn’t affect you in terms of what you could be successful in life
I personally think it’s just that there isn’t enough information, no matter how well you go, to fully define that particular role the right way and not try and put the press at odds with whatever you have going right now as a media professional because they all are just trying to get people to be more concerned about your success because they are more interested in who you might be and what you are about. There isn’t much we do in our job interview here and other people want to talk about our successes. We all talk about who is the main thing. And that is a great area to think about when we have our own media careers as there is only so much we can talk about as a professional.
What about how the media biases to make people focus on your success What advice you have for journalists who write articles that might be biased
If you have done your research on what people do and think and do a little more of it, I think sometimes people start to put themselves through the paces. Maybe you do feel like you are doing better with your career but not in your field and not the way you were. I feel like when there are stories that are going on that they seem really to be pushing the limits as a journalist and a writer and you are pushing people aside. It gets in the way of how you think about what is important and it puts it on the back burner. But I do feel really comfortable focusing on the things we are really passionate about and talking about
