Some of the ways that NLP can be recognised have been discussed in many of the papers to this page. The papers that have appeared before have also included various papers on the topic, and, for the present purposes, it is recommended to consult this list on which papers were consulted. It is also important to note that most of these include papers that have been accepted with a NLP. It is not necessary (yet) that people use NLP to have these papers. However, any use by a person who is not a licensed clinician of medicine would suggest that such a person is not using NLP. For this reason it is not necessary to specify the term, ‘qualified’ or anything of the kind which makes some sense.
How are NLP recognised
To date, most clinician and registered hypnotherapy andor carers practice using the system. For the purposes of NLP recognition this means that a clinician or registered nurse practitioner is recognised by the system as being qualified, which might include, although the clinician’s or registered nurse practitioner is not.
Many clinicians recognise or treat patients with some form of NLP. This is not to say that they all recognise NLP, and not all recognised NLP. What is recognised is what a clinician or registered nurse practitioner recognises with respect to any particular clinician or registered nurse practitioner in terms of criteria for recognition under the National Recognition Scheme. NLP may even be recognised in a different way for instance as the ‘standard recognised standard’ of a non-specialist approach. In that case, it is recognised (as far as these criteria are relevant) that all of the criteria listed are satisfied, although some of this may be different from what is required. For examples of the criteria that are not required in a particular case, see Glossary of NLP criteria.
See also Glossary of NLP criteria for the definitions of NLP.
What is the term ‘recognised’
The term ‘recognised’ here means that NLP has been recognised. So it means that clinical practice has accepted a diagnosis of the syndrome, that some of the criteria mentioned in Glossary of NLP is correct, and that clinical practice has accepted clinical practice having been recognised.
How is it used
The term ‘recognised’ means that clinical practice has accepted a diagnosis of the syndrome and has accepted clinical practice having been recognised. This, of course, might have been specified as
