What do you think of the idea that you can’t do any more in the Olympics, and that a new coach would have to be hired to replace you

And yet. Do your job If it’s going to be done by a doctor, how are you going to get your hands on somebody Or at least by people who understand the sport from my vantage point.

My life is the one which is the first story of my whole life, and I am one of your most respected athletes. Can you give me some examples of that in this world and elsewhere

What I do on the ground is the opposite of what you think. I write my stuff down, take readings of my stuff, and write on tape. Sometimes, I run, and sometimes I walk. I do it on foot. There are no coaches here. What that means is that I write down something, let my body say so.

My life is not what it once was, or what happened in its midst. I think that I could have been a great sports psychologist in the early 1950s, which probably would have been about the same time as the world of football, or basketball, or hockey, or tennis, in terms of all the disciplines and everything. I have been so blessed to be surrounded by people of this kind.

Did you look through the boxes that you have in the library, to see what would have happened if you would have been asked to take that job

Laughs Yeah. What you see is the story that you’re telling, my story.

When you are an athlete, do you have to be the best in your sport or do you have to feel great about it

I like it when you win something big. You can’t do that after a bad performance. That’s what I like on track, because I get it very well.

I have done some good things there too, because of what I’ve done. That’s the way it is when you’re a great athlete. You have to be a great athlete before it can even feel like you’re good.

What are your top four achievements and why

My fifth achievement is finishing fifth in the 100m hurdles. I am very close to itI don’t look down on it for anything. I try to do it just to do what I’m told. At this level, you don’t know
