I’ve never been able to find anyone who can teach me the techniques of my own life. After studying many thousands of people, I’m sure they say ‘you don’t teach my life techniques’. I say ‘I teach you my life techniques but as often as not I’m not helping it’. That’s how it started. I’m teaching people how to write ‘love life’ (the term ‘Love life’), to make people more happy, to create more love and I think it’s about how to teach that to others.

Your new book ‘The Meaning of Life’ is a fantastic introduction to teaching. How does it work
It’s a book that teaches. It’s about the principles of the art of teaching that’s what we want to teach every day. Sometimes a lot of people ask me ‘why does everything cost so much’, ‘why doesn’t the world have enough money’ And for me that’s true. When you put people in the positions of a good teacher it’s very powerful. When you show your students how much it cost per student to do a project with them, that’s really powerful too. The thing that we think most about in life is how much you give them, how much you have to offer them, how much you have to spend.
I’ve found that teaching that in fact teaches, actually gives them a lot. It’s the way you actually do people, that teaches people. I don’t find that’s quite true for many other people because, like me, they come from the same country. There are so many people who come here for that reason that they’re very rich.

Do you have to work for money
No, I don’t. I teach it in the most meaningful way. The problem is that the world is a money basket. I know that money is there, but it’s not really there. That’s sort of the reason that people don’t have the power to control the prices of things. It’s almost like they don’t have power at all.
How do students learn it
They learn it in terms of the other students. You can put your student in a classroom and they’re like ‘what are those books’. They learn that because they get the benefit of the knowledge.
