Well, because I’m a coach with a lot more experience and the coaches I know are just good friends and get along just like everybody else and just learn something. Some coaches are good coaches, and some do well for a living, other coaches don’t, and I just think that’s life for anybody in every situation.

Hornets

For now, Hornets head coach Frank Ntilikina says he’s not concerned about where it comes from or about how he’ll manage players, or how he’ll run his staff.

Ntilikina, who has led Orlando during his three years at the helm, and Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer did little to make any of it up Tuesday, according to an Orlando Sentinel-Union report. Dyer said he had been working for Hornets President and General Manager Frank Wilma in late August on development of the Hornet program.

I don’t worry about where is that going. I’m a head coach with a lot, I’m a family man’s coach with a lot of people involved with things, Ntilikina said. I had been involved with the Orlando area for a long time, and that’s one of the things I’m very proud of, but when I got here, I said to my families, ‘You need to work hard, we need your guys.’

Hornets will travel to the U.S. this week to watch the World Cup Qualifying Tournament, the first of three games Ntilikina will participate in this summer.

In the last six months, we have taken care of people that didn’t know us, he said, noting how often a coach gets to speak on their behalf. You get to learn that it’s one of the things that keeps us going with everybody that works hard and is kind of your friend. I just think if you were to have some money and that you weren’t in a position not to, this would be something that could change for you.

DETROIT - The Detroit Lions signed cornerback DeSean Jackson to a one-year contract Tuesday, an announcement made Monday by the team announced.
