I’m sure that you have your own opinion, and there is still much I can share. Nevertheless, I think there is a lot to learn from the experience.

You’ve spent 10 years trying to figure out how to become a professional coach. Do you still think there’s a big gap between that and the profession that is in place

I believe that the job market is still one in which the biggest challenge is finding someone dedicated to your passion, your work and your life. I’m sure that you will find things out that you may never find you wanted.

I think the biggest challenge for the entire profession is finding someone dedicated to your passion, your work and your life And my advice to you is if you’re interested in working with a coach, if you’re interested in learning as I have, then you are a perfect candidate.

As a coach, what can you tell us

At the end of the day, we all have our own personal challenges, and it isn’t worth all of my time trying to figure out something you’ve never understood. If you were to ask me what the most difficult thing is, I would give you a 10-20 answer.

What do you think has been the most difficult job you’ve had to do since you began running the business

I think the best job in the world is actually to not just be a good student. In order to be successful, you have to be a good partner, or your wife is going to be watching you closely in every minute of your day. The other thing that goes into a job with these people is figuring out how to stay a coach and being passionate about building a long term relationship.

How many coaches have you worked with

We hired two guys just before we went to Washington with their full team of people. The one guy has been the head coach for 20 years and this is the guy who had gone straight to school. I think they were one good pair of hands. His kids are really good coaches just because he gets the job done. In fact, he’s the guy who is supposed to be the face of the team.
