According to Sports Illustrated (via his Twitter account), he spent 6 million on his contract last year.

The 76ers have been in trouble over the last several years. They have lost four of their last five championships, the most recent coming back to the 2008 Finals. This year they lost three of five and will have to find another way. They need a big star next summer, either as an extension or a trade, and have been struggling. The NBA is so stacked with stars that if they didn’t have an elite player next summer, they may struggle, as they do today. This one is a better bet. The 76ers and their fans will have to pay over 1.6 million to get him.

The other thing I learned during this week’s Game 1 hearing is that this is not your only option. We didn’t get an answer back, but when you play a lot on TV, you will feel. And we had to get one to tell you how bad that was. We’ll just have to wait and see. But to be honest… I don’t know what he’s going to do next season. I’m not sure what he will do next year, but if he gets that 6 million he could make some money now.
