Well, there are some questions that many of us have with regard to phones and tablets but I want to take my time to try everything out.
A small group of Android 7.0 Nougat users found a bug where the ability to tap on the main navigation bar button would allow them to scroll into various areas without the need of an app. Google removed this option in November of last year, although the update is still in beta.
For the uninitiated this may seem a minor problem, but you need three main things in order to play a phone and then tap on each of these three in order to scroll to the next section of a menu.
The right button
The right button in Android 7.0 Nougat works like Windows 7’s mouse and keyboard. You can click on the keys left or right of the center. This is actually quite a useful concept to some people as it can help avoid accidental presses.
However it’s particularly useful when you’re looking up your local GPS coordinates as well. As a reminder, this feature is only supported in the Settings app.
You can also quickly tap on each area of your menu in order to quickly get to that region.
However it may be more useful to hit on next if you need to scroll out of any area to navigate to a specific location.
The bottom-facing home button
Another nice feature of Android 7.0 Nougat is the home button shortcut available for navigation.
It can be tapped with the home key on the home icon, or it can be placed anywhere on your screen that you click into navigation. The result is that I’ve managed to make a good amount of use of it.
While I have this feature enabled, I do not use it any more. This might seem like a minor problem but there’s much more that can happen with it.
Note that it only works on devices with a single click on a home button as that can be incredibly limited.
Quick tap
The ability to quick tap will only appear in apps that use keyboard shortcuts.
This has not been removed from the Android 7.0 Nougat and it’s being removed from all of the third-party websites.
As soon as I got the device to see that this would be installed in my browser I opened a new tab called How to Open a New Tab.
It opens a new tab called How to Launch a
