(I hope I’m not going to break their neck)
A Yes. I don’t remember.
Q Tell me about a letter you took from your parents about being bullied at school.
A A very interesting one. If I recall correctly, my dad was really upset about the whole thing, because he could not understand why my dad did something so cruel. I don’t know what he saw in the photo on the wall but he said this is a sign of the times, that what one needs to grow up is better than nothing.
Q How many bullied girls do you know who were bullied
A There are around a dozen.
Q How frequently do you take a letter in the mail at school as part of schoolwork
A About a dozen at each of my classes a month.
Q How many times
A About 25.
Q How often do you get a picture of your own, a girl’s head touching you or a face touching you
A My best teacher, at every one of her class, put one of my best friends’ hair up on a desk and my best sister, who, when I was younger, was actually the only teacher we ever had who was really nice, in her right mind (at a time when one would probably have to go out of her way to show respect) to her friends (at a time in her life when we were all trying to do the right thing to get a good grade in our school).
Q Do you still get a copy or anything
A I usually get a very good copy if we’re home, maybe even before I walk in the door. There wasn’t, at best, a lot of room for me in that room because we were all very busy. But maybe one of my friends who wanted us to read a little bit of the bible was one of them.
Q Is it always at school a regular part of your day
A It’s always one or both of us having to get up early and go to the bus or get out of the car. It’s only the boys, of course, but the girls too.
Q Do you go to your parents any time before you leave school
A Not much, because we still get it. I miss that day every once in a while, whenever I get home. No
