Dave Blaine’s first season on Fox was his debut season as the host of the weekly reality show The Apprentice. During this time, we watched all his shows and all the guests and talked about the show and how good he was at it. He was pretty much an underdog, which is really the story of David Blaine as a guest show host.

And he’s pretty much a one-trick pony, because on the show, no one knows you love a show. So Dave is like, this is what you’re going to do. And he starts the show, what does he do The question is, how do you do that So, the answer is easy you tell David a story, and there are no questions for him to answer, no questions. It’s really about how you do it. You tell your guests. You say, what’s happening to you, how you’re doing. How you’re being accepted in school and everything. The only thing you might not realize is, you write a story.

It’s about this little act of self-publishing, like, How has that worked out for you, because you’re writing, you’re doing this story, you’re showing a really good story. It’s not about that stuff, but about a story you want to tell. He’s a part of that journey and he wanted to let us know how much of him made this show possible.

Q. He asked if you’d be able to write for more than one show but you gave up on it in order to get a show and he says he was really close to starting a solo show and you said yeah.

A. He said in the beginning, it would take a little while. I think it took me a long time. He said it would take a little while after the pilot for some people to get it and he told me to just keep doing it, but he just wanted to get more into it because he was so busy doing what he was doing. He said, I want to keep doing it. I want this show. I want to do this. He said, That’s great. All right. Let’s get started.

A. The pilot was canceled at this point. Well, I have that in mind.
