Yes. I grew up in the 80s, and that’s exactly what my parents are doing, with the way they’re interpreting it. The music in the show is quite beautiful with a beautiful voice, with beautiful lyrics. Their favorite song is the one about how they can’t let go and make some sort of decision and make their own destiny, as their parents say.

The last place I heard a magician was in the movie ‘The Wizard of Oz’, where the story of the wizard with his eyes closed is really told. What are your thoughts on the song’s melody and what effect that was having on the character

I’m sure there’s a lot of music that would have come through. The sound comes from there. Even if I didn’t like the melody, it’s still there. I still like that song, and I’m glad I did because it’s so inspiring. When you listen to it now, you get a sense that this story is really going on in a different form, and you know it’s going on in different forms.

What about the song’s lyrics Are they just a continuation or will they change in the future Is the theme still there

You can’t judge in what way they change. In my mind, the song has a really strong influence because of the music. In the movie, it was always about ‘I could find the magic words’ and it was always about ‘My magic will save my life’. It has a lot more than a theme about this. It’s very important in the present, where my mom had to go back through the years to look for something good. When my dad was a young child, we had to take care of our grandparents at a very young age. We went back and reworked our family tree of life in order to get our memories restored. That’s very important.

How does your family and friends express it

Well, they’re going through different lives. One of my friends once said that she went to see her father in Germany, so it’s true. I did see my younger friends in Spain, and from then on the magic really helped us out.
