When I came out of school the idea of using a 3D 3D painting as an art form was still young - I’d been making drawings in a computer lab before. And there were so many, so many, so many different kinds of tools for painting on a 3D canvas that I couldn’t even draw a real 3D painting. But what we have now, the digital 3D 3D printer, is much more sophisticated and easy to use than the traditional analog 3D printer. It has built in software and built all the tools that your typical print-and-print operation does. It’s more like an optical character-recognition program where the 3D printing software is able to recognize how the print is being printed and then use that information to control the finished print to be printed.

Can you describe the workflow for building your own 3D printers

I love working on small projects, it’s fun to learn new stuff and to make things that I’d never dreamed I could do in the field of 3D printers. Because you can make anything from a simple computer terminal, to an entire house of cards. There’s so much for many people to learn about 3D printing and so many possibilities to try.

How would you describe the process of making your own 3D printers

I’ve been doing it for a couple of years now, and it started with me at the studio we bought a long time ago for our new art gallery that houses an international exhibition of 3D 3D 3D printing. The experience and the tools to print on the 3D printer and then move around the 3D printing world created a really fun, exciting place to be. A lot of people think that 4 years of coding a software project will make it cheaper to be a 3D printer hacker, because it takes a little more time, but I think that’s not true for 3D printers.

3D printers require less time or money, are generally easier to install, and are cheaper to maintain. And I actually like learning new 3D printing techniques and different materials like acrylic or metal for example that are actually available on the 3D printer market. And what you can do with 3D printing is really easy. You don’t just build it yourself or you put it into a print shop. You start with components that you’re familiar with and some materials in your craft that have just been done in some way, you’re able to use them and have them integrated with something like your
