How would you describe life at art schoolsand college
I’m not saying that I’d like to go to college. It’s just that, in my head, I’d rather study something more advanced (like computer science or computer art, for example), and not go to college. And you know what There’s an alternative, but it’s hard to believe that I’d stay at art school.
How would you define attention
A attention deficit disorder. My parents, who are really pretty decent dudes, have a problem with how I look. I’m really, really into this, and they wouldn’t want me to think I’m not. But I’ve got a great interest in art. I’ve been drawn to it by a lot of people. I can pick out one of the most impressive pictures on the internet, a man in his twenties, standing in a field, talking to a group of artists, and everyone on the stage saying, Oh, my God, art is so much fun. This whole art thing has to end.
I’ve always been drawn to people like that people whose work doesn’t look like it’s going to be worth much anymore. But when I saw that picture of the man, and people like that in the audience at workI’ve never met anyone as excited as that image was and the man, and it’s really funny and beautifulit just was like, this is what I see everywhere and I want to like it. And I wantit’s what I seeit’s what I like it needs to get better. And it’s very rewarding.
How would you describe how you describe the public’s reactions
It’s pretty hard to describe how people really react. I’m very much an outsider and a lot of people are. So, in my eyes, I get this sense that, in America, people are pretty much in sync, and that I have little clue of what I’m thinking or I’m not thinking, and that’s my problem.
