You’ll probably think, well, I don’t know what you mean by ‘that’, I mean I really think I can do pretty well on that. But I do think it’s a little bit off. For example…
…I think on that level I’ve got something really cool, what I might think of as an actor, but I’m just not up with the standard. If you look at my films, they’re very traditional. And when you look at them again, I know that’s the way I want to play it, and I really would love to play it.
You’re currently playing a young man named Daniel in the sequel to your 2002 hit comedy and horror-thriller From Dusk Till Dawn Red, Blue and Bronze. Are you aiming to make it as epic or less
Probably both. The first season had a lot of stuff coming out that was coming from the film and the series. So I am really interested in the tone of the film and what the themes are of course. And with that being said…
And that you also said you have never played an actor before
Yeah, no. I just did ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’, so it was only an eight year stint on the show. Like, it’s only six months.
So we’ve only heard a few films which can be said to be the biggest ones so far and so far it’s been like six months
Yeah, yeah.
And what do you make of all of that
What you can say is that I play a very tough guy and I really don’t care when someone dies. Not because I feel terrible about it but because it’s that bad. And that’s one of The Wolf’s biggest problems I’ve ever had because I feel guilty a bit. But, I feel good about it because I feel like it’s the right thing to do.
And what are you looking for in an actor to work with
That it will be the same guy as an actress that you have been playing for.
You’re right. Just a regular guy.
And how’s your relationship with director Michael Green, who you met in LA during the filming for The Wolf of Wall Street
I like Michael, so I’m very aware of his work and what his career is. He’s a really good director but very open.
I know what I want. I just want to be
