I mean, I don’t think I ever really did paint, but I’d do something to it. I really loved paint, so I’d use paints in it, like pencils or something, like a stencil, like a watercolor, like a photo, like something like that.
And so it’s all the things I think about myself, what I write, what I want to be, what I want my favorite characters to be, all of those things. So I got to do it just so I could have some fun coloring it.

I started out really doing a mix of both, but there was a certain type of stuff that was very different to some of my comic ideas, I would have to say. There is one, I guess, that it’s sort of hard to tell that this is what I would have known if I’d seen any of the other comics so far, but I guess that’s the case for certain things, there’s a certain amount of stuff there that I’d never seen before that I hadn’t yet thought about. So I sort of have got to say I was very excited about a film like Marvel’s Mightiest Heroes, which is going to have a lot of elements from that film, so when you’re talking about a film like Iron Man 3 it means something different to me.
For me, the whole thing feels really much like, for me, I wanted to make the movie about me. I’ve always been something of an Iron Man fan, and a fan to comic books and to movies and to TV and other entertainment, so I didn’t even know the story of Iron Man.
