Here’s an easy one the most expensive one from Zoya to my personal knowledge. You can’t get a quality one from me unless you get a product like it from me. When I first started freelancing, I was more of a artist-driven model. What I found in a professional photo editor was that some photographers used Photoshop, and they did great work for each one. But when I moved to Zoya from the Netherlands, there was a definite lack of professional photo editors on Etsy that I could use to create a portfolio for all of them. This was the same fate that brought my previous employer, Photographer’s Gallery, to me.
It was in this spirit that I came across a little girl named Janie. My boyfriend, James, and I decided to use it as kind of the foundation for our wedding planning. So, we started up a business, based on this idea. Janie was a freelance photographer, who was taking her business to a worldwide scale. There are several websites that list all the top professional photo editors in the world of Etsy, and I wanted her to be a part of them. So, I contacted her and she accepted and became a creative photo editor for the site’s brand group.
Janie’s photos were used for the Walking With The Stars special, where the girls were photographed at a variety of locations around the world. She got an award for Outstanding Photography from the Vogue Magazine. But, she also made a big show of working on her favorite character the redhead. Janie was really the inspiration for the character of Chandra Johnson, the very first character to be featured on the series. I think that in many ways, Chandra Johnson influenced my very first photo. I got so happy with her. She is one of the last remaining great photo editors out there in the world.
