Well, why bother being so much more important than everything else.

The key to being more important is to be more honest about yourself. Being less self-involved and less self-assertive takes time, and it takes dedication. The European Parliament has passed a resolution recommending that all emergency measures aimed at preventing genocide, including war crimes, as well as violations of human rights, in the name of the rule of law, should be taken to ensure that justice is given to the accused.

That’s as much as the EU is asking for from the accused, the MEPs said in a statement.

There already is a European Commission recommendation for that, while those who commit genocide face further sanctions that can include imprisonment andor life imprisonment.

That includes measures to prevent attacks on civilians - and that’s all of which they want.

They’re also pushing an amendment to the European Criminal Justice and Justice Bill that would add the criminal prosecution of those responsible for human rights violations and to other civil offences if they are found guilty.

They’ve called for that to be put up for debate later this month by three member states.

They also want the Council to look at the potential impact the amendment would have on the EU’s criminal justice system, if it passes.

In its press release announcing the vote, the European Commission stressed the need to move fast to resolve the European commission’s concerns
